Why the Archive Matters
Carnival has too often been underdocumented — its history passed by word of mouth, its achievements unrecorded. The Global Carnivalz Archive exists to change that. We are building a permanent, searchable record of Carnival knowledge: the strategies that shaped national policy, the events that defined communities, the research that made the case for Carnival as a serious art form.
National Carnival Arts Strategy
The landmark policy document authored by Pax Nindi that established Carnival arts as a distinct and fundable cultural discipline within the Arts Council England framework. A defining piece of work for the entire UK Carnival sector.
