Who Is Pax Nindi?
Pax Nindi is the founder and principal consultant of Global Carnivalz, trading name of Pax Nindi. He is recognised as one of the UK's leading authorities on Carnival arts — a discipline that spans performance, production, cultural policy, community development, and international exchange.
His career began in the 1980s at the grassroots of the UK Carnival movement and has grown into a body of work that spans continents. He has advised governments, arts councils, local authorities, and cultural organisations on Carnival strategy, policy, and development.
Pax is the creator of Junkanew TV, co-founder of the Festival & Carnival Lab, and the driving force behind the Global Carnival Centre archive — a living record of Carnival's history, culture, and future.
